ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

At The Frank Approach, clarity and growth go hand in hand. I want this website and practice to be clear, usable, and welcoming, so you can focus fully on your own progress.

If you ever encounter a barrier… whether it’s with the site, the words, or the way information is shared, please contact me at gary[at]thefrankapproach[dot]ca. Respect and accountability come from working together, and your feedback helps me keep improving this space for everyone.

DISCLAIMER

The Frank Approach provides Certified Hypnotherapy for personal growth and lifestyle change, including confidence, stress reduction, habit change, motivation, and performance.

  • This is not medical or psychological treatment.

  • We do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat conditions like depression, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, or suicidal thoughts. Please consult a licensed medical or mental health professional for clinical concerns.

  • While many clients experience meaningful improvements, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Your results depend on your own engagement, commitment, and follow-through.

  • We operate in British Columbia, Canada under Canadian law.

  • Hypnotherapy itself does not cause harm. The practitioner acts as a guide while your conscious and subconscious work out a new contract for moving into what serves your future vision.

CONFIDENTIALITY & INFORMED CONSENT

During our work together, you are always in full control. Hypnotherapy is a safe, natural process… your mind will only accept suggestions aligned with your well-being, and you will naturally return to full awareness if an external need arises.

Everything you share with me is private and stored securely. While I am not a regulated health professional, I follow the principles of PIPEDA (Canada’s privacy law) to protect your personal information. I will only disclose information if required by law; for example:

  • if a child under 19 may be at risk of abuse or neglect, or

  • if an adult, who is under guardianship, in a care facility, or otherwise unable to seek help on their own may be at risk of abuse or neglect, or

  • if there is an imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or others.

In all other situations, what you share remains between us. If past experiences of harm or abuse are disclosed, I am not legally required to inform authorities. My role is to provide space for healing and, if you choose, to guide you toward resources that support your empowerment.

To keep our work safe and effective, you are responsible for disclosing any medical, psychological, or medication-related information that may be relevant. The Frank Approach is not liable for any effects or limitations arising from information that is withheld or undisclosed.

Recording Sessions

Sessions are not normally recorded. At times, an audio recording may be made for your review or to help me reflect and track progress in our work together. All recordings remain the property of The Frank Approach and are for your personal use only. They may not be copied, shared, or distributed without written permission. Recordings can also be securely deleted upon request. If you would like a copy, please let me know at or before the start of the session.

They are shared with you for your personal use and growth only. They may not be copied, reproduced, published, or distributed in any form without prior written permission.

This protection allows me to keep creating unique resources for clients while ensuring the integrity and safety of the work.
